Need For Speed Pro Street Bug/Glitch

K well ive been playing this game for quite some time, and now i have just encountered a problem.. As you can see when i start the game, the game itself sorta goes "retarded". It doesn't stop going up. It is hard to select and option, and when i play the car steers right. This is not a legit version, as i have downloaded it, but it worked great before. Was really looking for some help.
Also note my specs:
Core 2 duo e6600 (stock)
Asus mobo (stock with pc.. not a good one)
bfg 8800gt oc2, (675mhz, latest drivers)
2 gb ddr2 ram
32-bit windows vista

I have the latest versions of all drivers for my hardware, and this problem has just occured recently. Please looking for some help!! (more)
